GOETEBORGS UNIVERSITET (UGOT)

The Department of Law is part of the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg (UGOT). Legal education and research have been conducted in Gothenburg since the School was founded in 1923. The Swedish team is mainly concentrated on legal philosophy and theory, particularly in the field feminist/gender legal studies, gender equality law and policy, and freedom of speech. They also do research in the fields of ageing and capability, gender equality in the Arctic as well as Studies of Academic Knowledge in Law.
